Rusty boy.
Rusty's Story:
Rusty, like Star and Magic, was a rescue as well. He's an 8 year old Thoroughbred. He didn't come from a rescue, but his life was saved by his owners. Rusty used to be a jumper, but when a cyst developed in one of his legs and he was deemed useless, he was to be put down. His soon-to-be-new-owners were aware of how amazing he was and purchased him for $1. His new owners took him to a barn where he was stalled, but quickly learned that Rusty doesn't do well in stalls, and the ranch hands became afraid of him because of his size. So, they brought him to Windmill Stables where he spends his time in the pasture, never to be confined to a stall. He's essentially a giant dog, and will constantly lick and nibble you, as well as steal any item you leave around to play with.
